The CALIFORNIA REAL ESTATE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION (CREIA) was founded in 1976, and provides Education, Training, and Support Services to the Real Estate Inspection Industry and to the public. CREIA is a mutual benefit, non-profit corporation with state offices in San Diego and local chapters throughout the state.

CREIA's Mission is to:

• Represent the Real Estate Inspection Industry;
• Recognize and promote Real Estate Inspection as a unique, professional discipline;
• Provide leadership through education and by maintaining ethical and technical standards;
• Enhance consumer protection and promote public awareness of the association.

CREIA conducts monthly educational and training seminars at chapter meetings and two state-wide conferences each year.
